Portfolio of Student Work
Your Ongoing-portfolio will count as one entire portion of your grade.
Print Format Portfolio Requirements:
· ½” or 1″ 3-ring binder notebook (should be a hard notebook – not a flexible one)
· Your Name and graduating class clearly marked on the front and spine of the book. Type a nameplate on Word and attach it…
Drawing and Information Requirements:
· First Page of Portfolio
o Should have your Name, your graduating class, and the classes that you took. – see example –
· Second Page of your Portfolio
o Your Resume – see example –
o This should have contact information for you
o If you do not have work experience, please leave this portion blank.
o You can add to/subtract from your resume whenever necessary, but please keep it accurate…nothing should be arbitrary and made up.
· Pages Three through…….
o All drawings completed in this course.
o They should be organized by date of completion – with the most current ones being immediately behind the resume and the oldest drawings at the back of the portfolio.
o Use dividers to separate categories of work, such as 2-D, Multi-View, Isometrics, CAD, Inventor, etc.
All of this information is listed on the EDD-Salas drive in the “Portfolio – All Students” folder. You can open the file and change the names, info, etc. to create your own title pages, etc.
Digital Format Portfolio Requirements:
· Powerpoint
· First Slide will include: your Name, your graduating class, and the classes that you took. – see example –
· There will be a slide separating all categories of work – Inventor, VIZ, Revit, CAD, etc.
· In addition, give a slide for each project – Townhouse Project, AIA Project, Clocktower Project, etc.
· Include as many drawings as possible – save your work as .bmp or .jpg images and include them in the slides.
· Also include information about the drawings – what the picture shows, what the project was, etc.
