This hotel is absolutley amazing. It apears like the waterfall has an elavator inside of it which is really cool. The neatest part of this hotel is that it is built on the side of the cliff. The building itself is earthy looking with the green and brown colors used on the side of the building.
Wow this is the most amazing looking hotels in the world. The rooms on the left are curved and overlooking the water more than the hotels rooms on the right which are dug into the cliff. They look like they have more of a view of the other side of the other hotel. It kind of looks like there is a elevator going down the middle of the hotel. It appears that their are boats in the lake that they have so the lake has to be pretty deep. But these is a wonderful looking hotel.
this hotel is in china. part of the hotel is coming out of the cliff and part is going in to the cliff. it has a very nice view. the elevator looks like a waterfall almost. the grass is so green makes me wanna think there is a golf course there. it appears u can sailboat there. i think this place is really cool.
The China hotel is really neat because it was built inside the cliff. The waterfall does infact look like it has an elevator inside of it. It also looks as though there will be many activities to participate in there, such as sailing and swimming. Also, because it was built inside the cliff, power usage will be less because the cliff will keep the hotel warmer and cooler. It is a good looking hotel.
This hotel has a unique design. It may seem as though this hotel is from 2052 but it is actually being constructed right now. The main portion of the hotel is protruding from one side of a rock formation that almost looks like a giant crater. The floors of the hotel stick out varying distances from the hotel. The other, secondary side intrudes into the cliff. The floors on this side are the same as on the other side.There is an elevator desguised as a glass waterfall separating the two sides. In front of the hotel is a lake with clear blue water. You can even go sailboating in the lake. To get into the hotel, you have to drive around the “crater” and into a parking lot behind the hotel on ground level. You take the “waterfall” down into the crater and enter from there. The place is really magnificent.

this hotel is very extraordanary. one part of the hotel is pushed back into the cliff, while the other part is overhanging a lake/ pond. to add to the water feature, it looks like there is a part of the hotel that imitates a water fall. the hotel is made of a lot of glass and i assume that adds to the values of the rooms, to have such a great veiw.
This Hotel is found in China. It is aperently called Waterworld and the foundation of the Hotel is a cliff. The left side of this hotel extends from the cliff and the right side seems to use the inside of the cliff. There seems to be some kind of elevator in the middle which is completly made of glass and steel reinforcements. On the left side there is a huge sky light possibly to light a garden on the top floor. This hotel has a detacthment on top of the water which seems to be a garden, and a building in the shape of a dome. On top of the Hotel is a large grassy area which looks to be a golf course.
This hotel appears to be as cool as they get. I don’t know if it has ever been done before, but this hotel is built into the side of a cliff. It looks to be made out of some type of rock or concrete that is white in color. The stories appear to jut out over the pool below as you move up the hotel. There is a waterfall right next to the main hotel that starts at a parking lot and ends in a pool below. The waterfall flows right over another wing of hotel rooms that are built directly into the cliff. At the opposite end of the hotel and the waterfall is a small lake that looks like you could take some kind of boat and sail around on it. The is one of the coolest hotels i have ever seen.
The hotel is very cool, Its different from anything or everything i have ever seen. The hotel is practically in the ground and also the view and the location is very well planned. I wouldn’t mind going there. The way the hotel is in the earth the way it is and the way it looks is very amazing. The main building structure is on the side of the cliff, The elevator looking waterfall can be very well hard to tall. There also is a lot of glass that can be very hard to kepp clean and possibly dangerous. The location the building itself can be dangerous because of possible landslide or flooding.
The architect(s) that designed this building are geniuses there design is phenomonal. my favorite part of this building is how natural it looks sunken into the cliff face. this is the best design of a hotel i have seen ever.
the fact that the hotel is off the side of a cliff is crazy in itself!! but also very creative. one pro about it is the actual hotel. it seems to have a small man-made beach to the right which i think is very cool. i also like the elevatorshaft in the shape of a waterfall very ceative! even though the hotel is spectacular, there are cons. the main one inotice is actualy the same one Jordan Trudell pointed out. i’m in agreement with him about the landslide and flooding that could occur.
This hotel is amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it before! It’s underground, yet you can still see everything. I like how the elevator looks just like a waterfall. All of the water around makes it seem like it was built on a lake. I don’t know if any other hotels were ever built off clifs. Thats insane!! It looks like every single room as an amazing view.
The China Hotel looks as if it were in the side of a cliff. This hotel appears to be one of the best examples of archetecture at its best that man has ever made before. This hotel appears to have a lake down at the bottom of the hole, where small boats can move about. The hotel looks to be carved out of the rock of the cliff face. There also looks to be a small area for people to cross to the different areas of the hotel. There seems to be an elevator within a glass tube for people to roam up and down from the lake below. There seems to be a space reserved for indoor swimming that is covered over by a glass dome at the bottom of the hotel. There also seems to be a paved path running around the outskirts of the hotel resort.
I used to think building in a cliff was a rather farfetched idea, since getting the materials in the middle of a cliff would be very difficult. Though it seems that it wasn’t built into the side of a cliff, but rather in a hole, along the edge of one half. mainly because digging into the side of a cliff to add support and halways would be a waste of labor. the hotel seems to take an ~ shape from the front andmay or may not be done. the lake at the bottom seems to be filled by the seemingly glass covered waterfall in one side. there should be a marina somewhere, since getting the sailboats down the side of the cliff is ridiculously hard and would require an elevator of large size to be used. the hotel is a very beautiful but seems like the kind of hotel where your pocketbook needs to be larger then your head to stay here.
When I saw that picture of the hotel, all I could say was “wow!!!!”. The hotel makes good use of the landscape by building the hotel on a cliff. I do like how the duilders put a lake at the bottom of the cliff. what I dont like is all the glass(as Jordan said) it can be VERY dangerous and fragile. I also noticed that it has an oval shapped area jutting out from the top of the cliff. If that oval were to fall (and it certanly looks like it will) it would go straight into the lake. If someone where swimming bellow, after or when it falls, they could be seriously hurt. Other than that, it looks uber cool.
This resort shows the architectural beauty of China while keeping a high-tech/industrial feel to the area with numerous glass domes and many walkways that exemplify the natural/human partnership that exists in much of China. The most amazing architectural and engineering feat in this quarry-side hotel is an elevator that runs down the jagged rock slope and keeps a waterfall run through it, not to mention the precision it would take to build the rest of the hotel. Another nice feature of this hotel is its many underwater rooms and lakeside sporting capabilities. Also, because of the location of this hotel in a rock quarry and out of the natural monsoon patterns of Asia, this hotel would not be prone to many natural disasters.
This hotel is being built in China. It gets its naturla aesthetic from following the contour of the cliffs. This hotels many windows and balconies make it look quite modern, On top of the hotel there looks to be some sort of courtyard and a parking area, which are landscaped quite nicely. On the bottom of the cliffs there is a large lake that adds greatly to the natural feel of the building. This place looks amazing, but I bet it’s going to be crazy expensive to stay there.
this hotle is very on-of-a-kind. just look at its location. I mean its pretty much on the side of a canyon, whichh also has what seems to look like a lake in it. From the looks of it the architects that created this building where not heading for the symetrical look. The only thing that worrys me is that there is no rails on the edge of the cliff, what happens if you loose control of your car and just run off the edge, wow. that lake must be pretty big they have some boats down there. This is definetely one of the craziest hotels I have ever seen.
This amazing hotel in China definitly is a step above the rest. It blends into the side of a cliff. It has a wonderful looking lake with boats. There are several walking paths on the water and a dock. On the right side of the cliff is an overlook for the people who aren’t staying at the hotel. There is also a unique looking elevator that looks like a waterfall. I do have one question though. How do they keep people from falling down into a 1000 foot ditch??
It looks like its a true spectical. I mean just look at it. However I bet that there’s certainly a lot of safty measures that are going to have to be taken. For instance all of the measurements are probably going to have to be exact to the milimeter or it could mean disaster. Also there should be a lot of additions to the hotel to keep people from hurting themselves. It looks expensive to but from all of the business its going to be getting I don’t think its going to make much a difference. Who wouldn’t want to go there with all of that cool stuff like the pond, elevator, and shapes.

This unique hotel looks as if it was going to be developed in the near future. The main building is sticking out off the side of the cliff. The ”O” shaped building looks like a frizbe stuck in the side of the cliff. The elevator looks as if it were a waterfall seperating the two different sections of the building. Down in the lake at the bottom of the cliff it looks like there is an arena for some type of show and a place that you can rent some small boats. There is about four sail boats and a canoe in the lake. This very expensive hotel sorrounded by a canyon like structure is a very cool looking place.
this hotel is amazing, it looks as if it is exploding out of the side of a cliff. With lots of exturding glass and meatal all arond the crater type hole the hotel is located in.the elevator that looks as if it is a water fall, falling in to the pool and lake below. All of the glass and the water come together to make a great effect. This hotel woujld be an experience to stay at

I already commented on this and it was a page long and it erased it so i dont really want to this again but i guess i have to. Anyways this hotel looks very modern and is built in layers that seem to be coming out of the edge of a cliff At the bottom of this structure is a lake or lagoon type water structure. To the left of the hotel at the very bottom is an igloo looking indoor pool. To the right of the structure looks to be a glassed in elevator with some sort of water running through the inside. On top of the cliff there is a golf course all the way around the cliff. Behind the hotel seems to be a good bit of parking. I would love to stay in this thing but it costs a fortune I bet andits to far away.
