Sept 12 Field Trip

…Get ready…Engineering Concepts classes (all 35 of us) will be going on a trip on September 12.  We will have a charter bus and will be gone the entire day (8.15am until 5.30pm). 

Where to?
- GA Tech
- CNN Center / Centennial Olympic Park
- Walkng tour through Downtown Atlanta
- SouthFace Energy Institute (still setting this up)
- Southern Polytechnic State University

Because of the charter bus and length of tour, the cost of the trip will be $34.00 each.  You will have to purchase lunch from the food court at CNN Center (fast food restaurants like Wendys, Taco Bell, McDonalds, etc).

I am looking for company sponsors to help with the cost of the bus (and to make the trip more affordable for all of us).  If your parents work for a company that might be able to make a donation, please have them contact me!!!

We will return to school after buses have left, so  be organizing car pools to help drive students home who require it.

    sounds like fun. i love atlanta. i especially like the westin peachtree plaza, cherokee had there prom there. its awesome. and some of the condos are very modern.

    The trip sounds awesome and it gets us out of school. The only way you can make it better is if we head up to knoxville, to the home of the volunteers.Nixon if you see this Alabama is not going to win a game this year. But anyways the trip is a great idea.

    I think going to Atlanta is a great idea! It is relatively inexpensive to go there, and we can have loads of fun! Maybe we could go to the aquarium? It’s absolutely awesome. They have Whale Sharks and all sorts of fish there. Plenty of touch tanks. ;) For lunch, could we go to the Varsity?
