  1. I did not like GA tech as much as South Poly. I think it was maby to Abstract.

  2. I thought that it was neat how Dr. Khan took us through the display boards and showed what happens in the common first year. Many of those projects/ideas you WILL see again – but here at Creekview instead!

  3. I thought Dr. Khan didn’t realize that most of the students there were not understanding him, hearing him well, or internested in things because of how quickly he went though things. I did enjoy the 2nd year students’ work-it looked ballin’.

  4. *too

  5. I liked GT. The drawings on display were really crazy and in depth. I’m not so sure about how they teach you to do stuff though. Also, their desks were a lot smaller than at SPSU and they had a lot more kids per class. But overall, I liked the campus and the work the students did.

  6. I really expected more out of Georgie Tech. I don’t really like what I saw at Georgia Tech. I expected a little more out of it I guess.

  7. I thought that Dr. Khan went through everything to fast. I thought that the student work in Georgia Tech was very good. I also learned that the working environment at Ga Tech is small.

  8. Georgia Tech was horrible, for many reasons, one being their speaker lacked charisma and enthusiasm, he was dull, talked to much and wouldn’t relate. One of his comments made me very mad. The environment seemed nice but it was just too crowded. I like quietness there.

  9. Dr. Khan made me look at the projects, the students made, differently. Like the continuous line one I didn’t notice that it was a continous line at first.

  10. I was not as impressed with GT as I thought I would be. The schools was not what I would expect at a place like GT. The layout of the drafting studio was horrable. The cardboard tables that you worked on were very poor looking. The fact that you have to go over to your “locker” to get stuff is weird. The professor there scared me. I didn’t really understand what he was talking about. He spoke to us like we just graduated from there.

  11. Ga Tech was never my favorite school and yesterday did not help them to be my favorite. The projects they had on display did not appeal to me because I am not freehand inclined. It did not appear that thay had a architecture or engineering program. Mr. kahn was a very hard person to understand(accent).

  12. I liked Georgia Tech alot. I like their Campus. Hopefully I well get a full ride for Baseball to go their because it seems pretty expenseive. I know that I well not be able to pay that. The students work was pretty good i enjoyed looking at it.

  13. That Was a very odd man. His acsent was distracting me, and his breath was kicking. The work spaces at GT were also pretty small I think it would be much better atmosphere at SPSU.

  14. I liked Georgia Tech. I really enjoyed looking at the drawings and sketches and trying to figure out what they were representing. It also was fun to hear Dr. Kahn talk about them and how they are all different.

  15. GATech seemed pretty cool. The drawings on the wall showed us what we could expect if we went there. Their studio was crazy compacted, but the campus was pretty cool.

  16. I think I still want to go to GA Tech, because it’s an extremely well-known and well-thought-of school. I feel that it would have been better if we’d gone all over the campus, instead of just going to the architectural area.

  17. I learned that i dont want to go there. There isnt enough space and They arent asa direct.

  18. Tech is a really nice college. I would love to take an architecture class right in the middle of Atlanta. But i don’t know if Mr. Khan realized who he was talking to. He was using all these big words talking to us like we we’re seniors at Tech. he was asking us to look at the drawings in ways i had never thought of before and it made my head spin a little bit.

  19. I really like Georgia Tech because people seem really nice to eachother and to people they may not know. I also that it was neat for Dr. Sabir to show us the class and tell us what they do and pretty much that is where you live and work.

  20. I learned that GT is not the place for me if i do wanna persue the architectual life. There is just not enough room for me to work. I just dont like the place i never had an now i can add one more reason why i dont like the school.

  21. I think the Georgia Tech guy went over the edge trying to explain the artwork. He tried to make simple things complicated, and talked to much on one subject.

  22. I did like how GATECH was big, but I thought that SPSU was better. I also noticed that there weasn’t a lot of room in the classes.

  23. I thought SPSU was a lot better. first of all GAtech gave you hardly any working space. Dr. kahn just did’t make any sence either. he talked about the drawings to long and made it boring when he did it.

  24. Mr. Kahn made things too complicated. He was dull, but i did like it when he took us in the workshop. I don’t think i’ll ever want to go there.

  25. Dr. Sabir Khan began telling us how architecture is an art and language of its own, yet it is still in English and is not an art in most respects. He showed us the first year layout of the GT Architecture Program and explained its stronger points in a lofty vocabulary while downplaying its lowpoints in a softer vocabulary.

  26. GT was… ok i guess, but i didn’t really like it, since it makes students do EVERYTHING else before doing what they really want to. i wish i could have explored the rest of the building, instead of a little in one workshop and the first floor. Mr Khan didn’t realate to us much, if at all, and he only talked about how the collage worked and how to get in. he kinda seemed like one of those door to door salesmen that tells you all about their product, but nothing else.

  27. GT was probably the most informational but yet the most boring one. The guy talked to softly and had an accent,to go along with his crazy hair due. GT gave me the best oppurtunity to comment on the people around because therer were some interesting characters.

  28. While the work at GA Tech was impressive, I thought that it was more like an art class than a school of architecture. The studio looked cramped and stressful and the students looked like they weren’t collaborating very much. Despite these negatives Dr. Khan gave some great information and advice.

  29. At Georgia Tec. I learned that you have to work very hard in order to achieve in that class. I also learned that it can be very fun still and to look at every thing from every angle.

  30. I did not like GT at all. The speaker was using big words and confusing everyone or me at least. I dont really like the idea of going there for two years and then have to re-apply.

  31. Was it just me, or did it seem kind of strange to anyone else that it costs more to go to GT, but they have worse facilities than SPSU?
