  1. I liked SPSU better because of its equipment. SPSU had better tools and working spaces. It seemed to have a more amount of space and was not as crowded as GA Tech.

  2. SPSU looked much better than GA Tech because of how much room they had and it was not as crowded. SPSU also looked not as boring as GA Tech because it had models and more real things then how GA Tech used more drawings. SPSU is also in a much nicer facility.

  3. Both schools are good schools (awesome going on other people’s opinions now) but SPSU looked a bit nicer due to the newer building and cheaper tuition (GREAT THING FOR POOR HIGHSCHOOL GRADUATES). GA Tech though has the whole normalized school enterence which isn’t completely normalized because different SAT scores are required for different studies.

  4. As I have stated many times in previous blogs, I like SPSU over GT. First, SPSU is more affordable so if I don’t get Hope, then it will be easier to go. Second, the workspace is bigger and more relaxed. The students were rushing but it was a lot quieter than GT. Third, SPSU is alot closer to us than GT which will help with gas. Finally, you only have to attend SPSU for 5 years to get your archtecture degree compared to 6 or more for GT.

  5. Defiantly SPSU over GA Tech because of the the bonds between the teachers, the work area, and also the relaxed tone of the students.

  6. If I had to choose between the two colleges, I would deffinetly pick SPSU. Georgia Tech didn’t look one bit as interesting as SPSU. I didn’t understand half the things Dr.Khan was talking about. It was easier to understand the proffesor at SPSU. He explained evrything that would happen if we do decide to come to SPSU.

  7. I liked both schools alot, but I liked Georgia Tech the best. I want to got their because of their baseball program. The SPSU was very cool and calm and laid back. But I want to go to GT because of their baseball

  8. SPSU dominates Georgia Tech, SPSU had a nice envionment, people were more friendly. I liked the place because it was relaxing, and enjoyable around the people.

  9. I like SPSU better cause it has larger work areas. You could sleep under your work area. You stay with the same people the entire time your there. Im an LSU fan so going tto GATECH would not be a very good idea.

  10. If you had asked me this question before the trip, I would have said that I was more intrested in going to GT. After seeing those schools, I was really not impressed with GT. SPSU was definitly better than GT. You have a lot more space to work at SPSU. It has a more laied back atmosphere to it. It was peaceful around there. At GT, it seemed like a tourtre chamber to me. I am definitly excited into looking more at SPSU now.

  11. Although Ga tech is harder to get into therefore is better when looking for jobs Spsu has a better learning and working enviroment. I definitely choose SPSU over Tech.

  12. SPSU cleans GT clock because it cheaper I like ther program better, and the work spaces are incretible

  13. I agree with Levi, I thought that SPSU was an overall better program of architecture than Georgia Tech. The facility was very nice with lots of student workspace. The students I talked to seemed to love what they were doing even when it meant sleeping under their desks. Also the work being done by the students at SPSU actually seemed architecture related wheras at Georgia Tech, most of the work was random sketches of water bottles and creepy sesame street characters (more like an art class than architecture.) The environtment oof SPSU seemed alot friendlier than at GT. Students were seen collaborating and asking eachother questions where the GT students were more to themselves. Overall I think SPSU would be a great college to go to and I plan on applying there.

  14. I thought that GA tech had the better place. I could join a fraternity there, and I could get a BD in visual arts there. They had more along the lines of what I was looking for.

  15. SPSU > Tech. Enough said, southern poly was just superior in my opinion. I think that they had a better program, better studios, and overall better students…just cant wait!

  16. I would definatley chose SPU. For one, im not made of money so i chose the cheaper one. Most of the time, cheaper is not better, but in this case, it so totally is. They have more to offer and the enviroment seems more friendly than GA tech.

  17. I wouls choose SPSU becuase its cheaper, it won’t ruin realtionships or friendships, Mrs. Salas went there. They also have more to offer there and it just soounds better.

  18. Yeah, SPU disowned Georgia Tech in the engineering field. Thats enough said about that subject.

  19. SPSU was better. i like Tech and all but the architecture program seemed to be set-up better at SPSU. the students at SPSU looked happier and were willing to talk to us about any questions we had.

  20. I mean i *WOULD* sorry i spelled it wrong

  21. SPSU wins by a land slide on this competition. The people were happier more willing to talk the people at GT was looked like stressed not very happy. The program I think is allot better I could have stayed at SPSU all day if we had the time.

  22. I liked Tech a little bit, but SPSU was a lot better. GT was crowded, but SPSU has a lot of room! I did like the poly-carbon thing at GT. SPSU had some cooler things (the building also looks more interesting).

  23. I liked SPSU a lot better. GA Tech looks a lot harder to get into and a lot more expensive. SPSU still might be hard to get into just because so many people like it.

  24. I thought SPSU was alot better the GATECH. better work spaces, better price, closer, its got it all. when GATECH it looked like they didn’t really care about an acitecture program they had hardly any room to work.

  25. I liked SPSU MUCH better than tech, the workplaces were better, they were more Engineering then other places, and it seemed like a nicer place (don’t forget pricing!). like i said before. i CAN’T WAIT FOR COLLAGE!

  26. The students really did say it was kind of like their home, which you could tell by the microwaves and sleeping bags under the desks. The birds outside on the window ledge were a little disturbing but to end on a good note, i loved the view of the baseball field.

  27. GT looked like a much more prestigious effort and SPSU seemed to be a bit layed back after you get through the tediousness and time consumption of projects. Because of the rest of the school, and me knowing many people that loved the school, I think that GT wins. But, from the appearance of both yeasterday, I’d say they are about even, but preferable to one another at deferent standards.

  28. I like Georgia Tec. better because it has a better inviroment and better caricculam. I think GA. Tec. would have oppertunities for the kind of job I would want to do. I would prefer to go to GA. Tec. over every other school and its definatly were I’ll be going.
