I thought SPSU looked like a better school for architecture (GO GO BLATANT OPINION) since they had a whole building, a dedicated program for it, and their work spaces were much bigger than GA Tech’s. Also the students at SPSU were a bit more out going and talked to us if we asked them questions (with was pretty cool).
SPSU has a nice working area because of how much room they had to work in. It looked very relaxed with the amount of mini fridges and micro waves. It also looked less strict with rules than GA Tech because of how casual every one was which is good.
I liked talking to your past students. They were fun to talk to andd they ahd a lot of tips for getting through high school and getting into college. I liked viewing all of the work they did and the work space they had. We really have it easy compared to them. We know what to expect in college and we are able to take thi class. I, by far, enjoyed SPSU the most.
SPSU was a very nice looking school. I thought it might be a good way to lead my life toward. It does really hard but I think I might just be able to do it. It looks like you have to stay up a lot of hours working just one project.
I like SPSU because of the way they think the teacher-student bond should be like. I also like SPSU because of the working space they have for students. Also, I liked SPSU because of the way the students were relaxed.
I liked the overall feel of SPSU. It seemed very relaxed. All the kids seemed like they were having fun drawing and designing their models. The teachers their seemed very nice and they try to get to know you on a personal basis. They seemed like they try to help you out as much as they can.
SPSU was awesome the environment was relaxed, everyone there seemed very nice and friendly. I liked the one professor Dr. Farooq he was nice and funny. They had dead birds everywhere that gave me something to laugh about, and kept me interested. Just kidding.
Dr. Farooq was cool. When we were in the place i kept seeing dead birds. It was a bit freaky. I did like how SPSU offered bigger work areas.
SPSU was awsome! I really like visiting the drafting lab and visiting David. The drafting lab there is great. You get an entire cubicle with a drafting table, a big table to lay out all of your stuff, and a wall to hang all of your “trophies.” Talking to the people in the pit was great too. The told us all kinds of great information about Arcitecture and their school. I can’t wait to go back there.
My favorite part of SPSU is the workspace. It appeared to be an Office. I liked to see all the projects and the progression from first year to last. Every one at SPSU waas very relaxed and when people are relxed they are produvtive.
SPSU was awesome! The atmosphere was very nice and the people were friendly. It also seemed more hands on and it did not have the space issues that Tech had. Overall, I liked it more than Tech.
It was great I realy think that I would like to go there as one of my collage choices for in the future. because of the the cost, and how much less money it cost than other collages
I think the school was pretty cool. I liked the workspaces that the students there got to use. They were a tad bigger than the ones at GA Tech. I especially liked the cardboard chair. It looked like wood, but felt like cardboard! Sooooo cool!
I just cannot wait for southern poly. It seems even cooler than i thought it was going to be. The workstations were huge, and it seemed more hands on the Tech.
I learned that even though you dont get much sleep, it is well worth it. I would probly have a dorm/ appartment on campus though. It seems pretty interesting. i also like the space you are given. it is very organized and that is so me.
SPSU was an awesome school. all the students seemed happy and it looked like a good place to study. all of their work was displayed well and it looked good.
I really liked being there, some of the people were very nice and wanted to talk to you. Also SPSU is a place i might want to go to in the future.
Not getting much sleep doesn’t bother me much, besides thats cool to sleep under your desk. I think the staff at SPU was very nice and interactive with us.
I liked SPSU I found out if I was to pursue the architectural life I would go there. They have big work spaces nice people the faculty that we seen were also nice. I liked the cardboard char was a very creative idea. The program is only 5 years.
I thought this place was awesome! I really hope I can get into this school after I graduate. I thought it was really cool and the workspace was huge!
I think I wasnt to go there now! The lady professor was kind of boring, but the students were cool. I like talking to them better than adults.
SPSU was really cool. I like the way the students actually talked to us. The work spaces looked big enough to sleep under. david was also cool to talk to.
I like the familiar and congenial feel of the place as wel as its student, while GT tried to go over our heads and impress us with higher vocabulary and an unfailiar syntax, SPSU did there best to appeal through our current knowledge-base. The desks were much more roomy and ever other person had an Apple iBook, I felt at home (actually, I still prefer my own room).
I am totaly going to try and get to SPSU after school is done. It seemed like an awesome place, and i DID see microwaves, and sleeping bags, and things that would make it seem right at home.
I can’t wait for collage!
The students really did say it was kind of like their home, which you could tell by the microwaves and sleeping bags under the desks. The birds outside on the window ledge were a little disturbing but to end on a good note, i loved the view of the baseball field.
I liked that all the students at SPSU were open and would tell you about there projects. David was really nice and id a great job of explaining what life as an “archiTORTURE” student at SPSU was like. Also knowing that I might be able to go there for free with HOPE and other scholarships made me want to seriously consider it as a college choce (I am definately applying there.)
On the SPSU trip I learned the true meaning of hard work by listening to the thing the students have to do. And I also learned about the difference in programs between the two Tec. schools.
I learned that college isnt that expensive. I also learned that college isnt all fun and games.
